A remarkably confident and stylistically distinctive feature-length debut from screenwriter, director and co-star Juraj Lerotic. This film is one of the most critically acclaimed and award-winning films to come out of Croatia in several years (including winning Best Film at the prestigious Sarajevo Film Festival). From a script based on his own family's experiences, Lerotic plays the co-protagonist Bruno, who is on a desperate mission to save his brother Damir (played by Goran Marković) from suicide. Over the course of 24 hours, full of doubt and uncertainty in the coastal town of Split, the siblings captivate us with their timelessly tragic dance of love and death.
