Romans d’adultes: Sur le chemin de l’indépendance, vol. 2 (Erwachsensein: Auf dem Weg in die Unabhängigkeit)

The final part of the series focuses on spirituality and togetherness, accompanied by beautiful landscape images of Yverdon, Lausanne and the surrounding area. The young adults reflect on their past and present relationships, discussing childhood aspirations, activism, politics and friendship. There is a particular focus on Jordann's everyday life after drug addiction during his slow convalescence in the youth home, where he learns to talk about his feelings and cautiously begins to reconcile with his family. Although the protagonists and the filmmaker have obviously become familiar with each other over the years, the latter remains reserved and behind the camera. The brief flashbacks to the children from the earlier films speak for themselves and remind us how quickly time flies. (Marion Biet / Nicole Kandioler / Isabella Reicher)
