Romans d’ados: La fin de l’innocence – Episode 1 (Teenageralter: Das Ende der Unschuld)
Game-Boy, Walkman, cell phone and Eastpak backpack: a portrait of the millennial generation at the beginning of the 2000s in the sleepy little town of Yverdon- les-Bains in Romansh-speaking Switzerland. The camera captures the sincere and touching confessions of seven twelve-year-olds who don't quite know what to do with their feelings. Rachel has many plans for the future, so many that she is sometimes afraid that her life could turn out quite differently despite all her plans. Thys, Virginie and Jordann are trying to come to terms with their parents' divorce ("my mother's birthday is on September 17th, my father's on the 18th and in between is the divorce"), while Mélanie and Aurélie long for more independence and Xavier would prefer to do without family activities with his mother. Over a period of months, the filmmaker accompanies the girls and boys on their difficult search for self-acceptance. (Marion Biet / Nicole Kandioler / Isabella Reicher)
