Raus aus der Stadt

High rents, lack of cultural spaces and boredom. Why are people leaving the Salzburg suburbs? Is urban development part of the solution or part of the problem? A young documentary film team accompanies protagonists in Riedenburg-Maxglan and holds up a mirror to the cultural city of Salzburg. Dreams, successful uses and resistance are revealed. The project is the winner of the City of Salzburg's "Out of the Box" Award 2023. As part of this screening at DAS KINO, two experimental short films on the subject of alternative cultural spaces will also be shown.
