The film impressively illustrates how queer-feminist perspectives create a ‘queer ethic of care’ and thus create a deep connection to the environment and community.

In ‘Queer Gardening’, the director visits gardens in the USA and Canada whose LGBTIQA* gardeners share their unique experiences of queer gardening and reflect on how they interpret existing nature-culture relationships. Various projects are presented - from an urban community garden in New York City to a forest garden of a land collective in Tennessee.
