A young Navajo filmmaker investigates the displacement of indigenous peoples and the destruction of the environment caused by coal mining, wind turbines and environmental toxins. The indigenous people, who live in harmony with nature, are trying to protect their land, organise resistance and preserve their rights or bring about change. On this personal and political journey, Ivey-Camille Manybeads Tso learns from indigenous activists in Colombia, the Philippines, Mexico and the USA about their forms of resistance.
