The film follows mathematician Max Cohen as he searches for a pattern in the chaos and discovers a number that could both revolutionise the stock market and reveal the name of God. His search blurs the lines between genius and madness. The film combines mathematics, Kabbalah and religious mysticism and explores the dangerous hunt for the absolute truth.
