Past Lives

In their childhood in Seoul, Nora and Hae Sung were inseparable friends. Until Nora's family emigrates to Toronto and the two twelve-year-olds lose sight of each other. 20 years later, Hae Sung decides to visit his childhood friend for a few days in New York. Nora lives there as an aspiring writer and has already been happily married to Arthur for seven years. Nora and Hae Sung's reunion confronts them with their deep bond, inescapable questions about love, fate and the choices that make up a life.
