Passagiere der Nacht

Paris 1981: On the night of the presidential election, the population celebrates Mitterand's victory on the streets. There is an atmosphere of hope. For Elisabeth, however, it is a difficult time. Her marriage is coming to an end and she now has to look after herself and her two teenage children. She finds work on a late-night radio programme and meets Talulah, a homeless teenager, whom she invites to her home. Here, Talulah experiences the warmth of a family for the first time. But her free spirit also leaves its mark on Elisabeth and her children.

PASSENGERS OF THE NIGHT is an unpretentious film about upheaval and change, accompanied by great pop music from the 1980s.
