Panzerkreuzer Potemkin

Sergei Eisenstein's revolutionary epic is set to music live! The sailors of the armoured cruiser Potemkin mutiny and murder their leader Vakulinuk. In the port of Odessa, the revolutionary masses show solidarity with the sailors. However, the tsarist soldiers bloodily crush the uprising. The pathos of the montage, especially in the famous staircase scene, was intended to trigger a feeling of shock in the viewer and thus bring about a change in consciousness. The live soundtrack by Tyrolean musicians Jakob Köhle and Sebastian Schweiger should also have a mind-altering effect.
