An endurance competition in a small American town becomes a focal point for social inequalities.

One town, one car, one dream: every year, a car dealership in the Texan province organises a popular endurance competition to win a brand new pick-up truck. Whoever keeps their hand on the car the longest gets to call it their own. For 20 people, it means battling sleep deprivation, heat and boiling emotions day and night while a festival rages around them. Young family man Kyle also gives his all for the chance to win the grand prize. But what means hope for a better life for some is just an entertaining spectacle for the spectators - until the game takes an unexpected turn.
