Ten-year-old Nina loves her dad's bedtime stories about a little hedgehog who discovers the world. When Dad is suddenly unemployed because the factory where he works is closing, he stops reading stories.

Together with her best friend Mehdi and her faithful companion, the little hedgehog, Nina tries to find out why Papa has lost his job - determined to make her family happy again.
