Ničija Zemlja
Bosnia-Herzegovina, at the time of the heaviest fighting in 1993: the Bosnian Čiki and the Serb Nino are in a trench - in no man's land between the enemy lines. Between them is the wounded Cera, who is lying on a mine that could explode at the slightest movement. Soon it is no longer a question of which of the two soldiers is in charge. They join forces to save their own and Cera's skins and draw the attention of the respective camps to their precarious situation. In the process, they find themselves caught between two new fronts - those of the UN and the media ... War as dilemma and tragedy - Tanović hits several nerves at once with his visually powerful, chamber drama-like farce. His impressive feature film debut won him the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film and prizes at over 40 international film festivals.
