Nasrin’s Voice
Nasrin, a Kurdish child bride and young mother living in Finland, begins a quiet rebellion against the confines of her marriage, seeking independence despite her husband's resistance. When he takes their three daughters to Iraq, Nasrin’s life is turned upside down, and she is thrust into a painful battle for her children and for her own freedom. Set against Nasrin's personal journey, the film sheds light on the hidden struggles of many migrant women navigating a complex web of cultural expectations and legal obstacles. Nasrin’s Voice is a powerful call for women’s self-determination and resilience.
