My Sweet Land

How does a child come of age in a land scarred by war and trauma? My Sweet Land follows eleven-year-old Vrej, who dreams of a peaceful future as a dentist in Artsakh. Yet in a homeland shaped by relentless conflict, Vrej is forced to confront the brutal realities of war. When violence erupts once more, he flees, only to return to a village left in ruins after Armenia’s defeat. Through Vrej’s eyes, the film captures the weight of loss, resilience, and the enduring quest for identity carried by a generation born into struggle.
