Murdering the Devil – VRAŽDA ING. ČERTA

The way to the heart is through the stomach. The not-so-young, single Kate knows this too. So a call from her former schoolmate Čert (Czech for devil), whom she invites to an opulent dinner, comes at just the right time. Unfortunately, Čert is no longer the young charmer he was back then, but turns out to be a smug, insatiable chauvinist who not only devours the carefully prepared delicacies, but soon also the furniture. A trenchant chamber play about a couple's relationship that increasingly drifts into the absurd and fairytale-like.
