Munch

In the last days of his life, the Norwegian painter Edvard Munch (Alfred Ekker Strande, Mattis Herman Nyquist, Ola G. Furuseth, Anne Krigsvoll) fights with all his might not to let his art fall into the hands of the Nazis. Munch knows all about fighting for his art. Throughout his life, the art world wanted nothing to do with the Norwegian. Despite early setbacks - such as a scandal-ridden exhibition of his paintings at the invitation of the Berlin Kunstverein in the German capital at the end of the 19th century - he refused to be deterred. Even a later hospitalisation in a psychiatric hospital did not get him down.
