Mother and Son

In the late 1980s, Rose emigrates from the Ivory Coast to Paris with her two young sons.

The film follows the family from the suburbs, where she initially lives in cramped conditions with her sister, over 20 years to Normandy, where she builds a new life for herself. A chronicle of a family that grows together, but also threatens to break apart.
Léonor Serraille's second feature film is a moving, intergenerational portrait in which the decisions of individuals have a profound impact on everyone.
