Mo Harawe, AT 2018, 28 min
Two people meet again after a long time. Aisha, who fled from Syria and was abandoned by smugglers, is stranded in Maribor and needs to continue on to Vienna. The only person who can help her is her ex-boyfriend Ahmed, with whom she was once together in Damascus and who has been living in Austria for some time. From his perspective, we accompany him as he helps his former lover get to Vienna — illegally. Why did their relationship fail? What is their future in Austria? In the intimate space of the car journey, questions arise that neither of them had dared to ask for a long time.
