Midnight Traveller

When the Taliban threaten Afghan filmmaker Hassan Fazili with death, he and his family have no choice but to flee. Together with his wife Fatima and daughters Nargis and Zahra, he embarks on a year-long journey to Europe. Using their mobile phones, they document the hardships of the Balkan route, life in refugee camps and the uncertainty of the future. But despite all the adversity, they retain their humanity and hope. MIDNIGHT TRAVELER shows the reality of flight - from the perspective of those who have to leave their homes behind for a safer life.
