Menschen hinter Gittern
The US production, in which Morgan appears alongside Heinrich George and Gustav Diessl as a convict, premiered in Berlin on 24 June 1931. The reviews were positive. MENSCHEN HINTER GITTERN was not a ‘crime film with the usual romantic adventure [but] a matter of devastating force’. Everything else that had been shown in realistic crime films to date paled in comparison to this outstanding work.
