Snow and ice as far as the eye can see. In Nikolaus Geyrhalter's new film, we immerse ourselves in a white world. To this end, the filmmaker sought out spectacular locations across the continents and met people who are surrounded by these landscapes every day. MELT tells their stories – and tells of the creeping disappearance of this magical mass, of the ice that is not so eternal after all.
