WithGustl Bayrhammer, Hugo Lindinger, Gisela Uhlen

Year1980

Duration84min.

Franz Eder has been running a small carpentry shop in a backyard for many years. One day he suddenly gets company in the form of a goblin. An actually invisible little man with red tousled hair, a yellow shirt and green trousers sticks to a glue pot, thus becoming visible to master Eder and, according to goblin law, must stay with him from then on. The little guy called "Pumuckl", a descendant of the Klabaut men, likes to speak in rhyme, hates cats but likes guinea pigs and mice and loves to play tricks on others - which is usually quite easy thanks to his ability to become invisible. Master Eder is not spared Pumuckl's mischief either and always has to sort out the mess the little imp regularly makes in the workshop. But even though Pumuckl sometimes drives him up the wall and irritates his unsuspecting customers, he takes him to his heart, tinkers with him and is happy not to be quite so alone any more.
