Hansy Vordmeer, the god-like pop star, casts a spell over his fans - especially the passionate drinker Ferdi. To get even closer to his great idol, who propagates a healthy and ‘eternal’ life, Ferdi decides to radically change his lifestyle. But his transformation from a binge-drinking chain smoker to a vitamin junkie is met with great incomprehension by his family. Ferdi ‘duelling’ in Western style with experiences of addiction, constructs of lies, family expectations and a constant barrage of advertising. In his search for a better self, he increasingly moves away from his personal ideas of happiness. The central question remains: Do I even want to change? And if so, is that even possible?
