Jonny Stoll breaks out of prison to take revenge on banker Clifford and ‘Breitkopf’, who put him behind bars despite his innocence. He receives support from his lover and from famous detective Stuart Webbs, whom he first has to convince of his innocence. Meinert's film captivates with its strong cast – and the cinematographer is the same Viennese who created the images in ALRAUNE and ORLAC'S HANDS: Günther Krampf.
