Marko Feingold
In 1938, shortly after the Anschluss, Marko Feingold was arrested in Vienna and survived Auschwitz, Neuengamme, Dachau and Buchenwald until 1945. He then helped tens of thousands of survivors cross the Alps to Italy and Palestine. A Jewish Life portrays the long-standing president of the Jewish Community of Salzburg as one of the last contemporary witnesses whose stories reflect Nazi crimes, anti-Semitism and their repercussions to this day.
