Manga D’Terra

Rosinha moved from Cape Verde to Lisbon, more precisely to the community of Reboleira, which is characterised by Cape Verdean immigration. Her ambition is to become a singer. For now, however, she has to navigate the daily difficulties of her new surroundings. Music, humour, hope and solidarity between women can always drown out the worries of the present. With MANGA D'TERRA, Da Cunha immerses herself in Reboleira and the Cape Verdean diaspora and creates a dreamlike film together with the inhabitants.
