Love Bound

The Chinese LGBTQIA+ activist Qiuyan Chen gained unexpected fame in the 2010s through her courageous legal battle against homophobic university textbooks in China. But this fame came at a cost: she was involuntarily outed by her tutor, subjected to conversion therapy by her parents, and monitored by the Chinese government. To escape this pressure, Qiuyan moved to London, where she met her partner, Bling.
