#Love
What is love? It seems as if Ludwig Wüst is driven by the search for answers to this question in all his works. Here it is now central: The filmmaker calls #LOVE a modern love cycle that draws its inspiration from both Arthur Schnitzler and Chantal Akerman. In it, he deals with the different kinds of love in an age that has made consumption and communication its watchwords, but behind which there is almost nothing but emptiness. Fleeting moments of happiness and disappointment, captured in a cinematographic kaleidoscope consisting of documentary, fictional and found-footage material. Scenic diversity meets unfulfilled longings. Neil Young: “a complex, heartfelt and deeply personal art-work!”
