Little Joe

Alice is a single parent and a passionate scientist in the field of green genetic engineering. As a plant breeder in a company specialising in ornamental plants, she is developing a new species that is not only particularly beautiful, but also smells particularly good. If you look after the plant carefully, keep it warm and talk to it, it develops a therapeutic effect: the flower makes you happy. Unauthorised, Alice brings one of the flowers home as a present for her teenage son Joe. They call the plant "Little Joe" - but as the flower grows and flourishes, Alice's suspicion grows that the purple flower she has created is not as harmless as its nickname suggests.
