A determined young female officer in Israel is tasked on a daily basis with monitoring the family of a suspected terrorist. But then her routine activities take an unexpected turn, and the young woman finds herself in a race against time. She has to locate an Israeli soldier who has been kidnapped – in the middle of Gaza, before her before her father's killer is released in a prisoner exchange. As a coming-of-age film, the movie focuses not only on political challenges, but it also sheds light on complex themes such as moral ambivalence, love and loss in the Middle Eastern conflict.
