LEVANTE (POWER ALLEY)

17-year-old Sofia is the captain of a queer volleyball team in São Paulo. When she is about to receive a scholarship with a place at university, the protagonist of this tender and disturbing drama is forced to realise that she is pregnant. She receives hesitant support from her father for her decision to terminate the pregnancy, but immediately receives unreserved support from her partner and the other characters. But the state wants to prevent abortions with very strict laws. Christian extremists are also pursuing this goal - and all means seem right for them.
