Year2024

Duration113min.

In the 1930s, Leonora Carrington (OLIVIA VINALL) breaks with the social norms of her time and joins the surrealist movement. In Paris, she meets artistic greats such as Salvador Dalí and André Breton, but it is her tempestuous love affair with the painter Max Ernst (ALEXANDER SCHEER) that leads her on a journey to find herself. Between art, passion and inner demons, Leonora has to assert herself in a world full of upheaval. With the beginning of the Second World War, she flees to Mexico, where she finds her freedom and her own voice as an artist.
