Lemminge – Teil 2: Verletzungen

The second part of the existentialist epic takes us back to the 1970s. Those who survived have grown up - accompanied by bitter realization. According to the doctor Fritz Naprawnik, the human condition offers two possibilities: “indifference or hurting ... and being hurt”. The words mark the beginning of his love affair with Eva Beranek, the wife of his childhood friend Christian, whom he meets in hospital and raises. Christian had given her the slip, which resulted in a nervous breakdown. Sigrid Leuwen, who organizes a dinner, brings together the characters known from the first part, but cast differently in the second part. A chronicle of a generation that fails because of its forms and formalities: “Because I really convince myself that forms hold something together that has long since fallen apart ...”, as Christian, the army officer, characteristically sums it up.
