Kate Winslet brings the incredible but true story of Lee Miller to the big screen: Lee Miller was a cover model and Man Ray muse, but as a photographer and above all as a passionate and strong-willed woman, she fought all her life against being remembered only as a model. During the Second World War, she convinced British Vogue to take fashion shots in the middle of a devastated London and eventually went to the front in France as a war photographer. Together with her friend and colleague David E. Scherman, she documented the crimes of the Nazis in Buchenwald and Dachau.
