Leben in Wittstock

Between 1975 and 1997, Koepp's seven-part Wittstock cycle was made, documenting life and the changes in the small town in north-west Brandenburg through the eyes of three textile workers. This fifth part, which is also the first feature-length film in the series, is both a résumé of the past and a stocktaking of the increasing disillusionment in everyday life in the GDR.
