Latina, Latina
Discussion with director Adrian Duncan, moderated by Lotte Schreiber
Embedded within a fictional narrative, this poetic essay film sets out on an architectural and ideological exploration of fascism in Europe. The daughter of an architect discovers a series of diaries in his apartment, in which he recounts a journey through Italy in the early 2000s—marked by his fascination with architecture from the Fascist era.
With its multilayered storytelling—combining voiceover, archival fragments, and striking cinematography—LATINA LATINA feels as much like a novel as it does a documentary.
