Acapulco in 1968, the year of the Olympics: wrestlers' bodies wash up on the beach. Only one person can solve this case: Gloria, a musophobe from the richest of families, who acts as a superhero in her spare time, wearing a purple bikini, cape and opera gloves. Gloria soon suspects who might be behind the strange murders ... A pop-art-for-the-masses mixture of lucha libre and espionage action with some lovely Mad Scientist monster scares! Incidentally, lead actress Maura Monti is also a kind of superhero in real life: disgusted by the luxury life of a pulp cinema star and producer's wife, she divorced her husband and joined the Zapatistas as a village school teacher.
