Kurzfilmprogramm Ultraorthodoxes Judentum
The motto "Shalom Oida" created exactly ten years ago - currently supplemented by subtitles such as "Right now!" - is once again the poster motif of the Jewish Film Festival Vienna - and for good reason. The events in the Middle East have far-reaching effects on the perception of Jewish communities. This year in particular, the JFW wants to be a place where prejudices are broken down, common denominators are sought and peace content is shared.
All information on the programme, venues and tickets can be found on the festival website at jfw.at
This short film programme focuses on the life and environment of ultra-orthodox Jews in Israel, who have recently been increasingly devoting themselves to filmmaking. This allows new, unusual perspectives and insights into various aspects and challenges of strictly religious communities.
