Kurt Schwertsik im Wunderland

Kurt Schwertsik celebrates his 90th birthday on 25 June 2025. In a documentary about the great composer and musician created by Herbert Eisenschenk, he recalls cheerful, dramatic and sometimes seemingly absurd events from his life. Schwertsik's extensive legacy has been in the Zeitgenossen archive since 2015, which is now hosting a festive preview of the film together with the cinema in the Kesselhaus. Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner will give the keynote address. Gundula Wilscher (Archiv der Zeitgenossen) will then moderate a discussion between Kurt Schwertsik and Herbert Eisenschenk.
