The life story of the sisters Helga and Elisabeth - a journey through time from hell to light.

The memoirs of Helga Feldner-Busztin and Elisabeth Scheiderbauer from Vienna paint a comprehensive picture of the National Socialists' murderous reign of terror from 1938 onwards. At the age of fourteen and seven respectively, the sisters and their mother were deported to the Theresienstadt ghetto/camp. The father was sent to Auschwitz. The family miraculously survived.
International artists transform moments of suffering into contemporary art. 2D animations also combine space, place and time to create an overall visual image.
