Kraven the Hunter
Sergei Kravinoff (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) has actually only retained one thing from his childhood in Russia: his love of nature and animals. Animals are closer to him than many people. The reasons for this go way back to his childhood. Back then, Sergei suffered particularly under his cold-hearted father Nikolai (Russell Crowe). He had little love for his own son and unscrupulously let him know and feel that he clearly favoured Sergei's half-brother Dmitri (Fred Hechinger). So Sergei withdrew further and further from people and saw his task as protecting nature and animals. He doesn't even call himself Sergei anymore. He is known as Kraven the Hunter. And the animals not only seem to be Kraven's friends, but also follow his orders. This special bond is finally put to the test when Dmitri reappears...
