Krambambuli (1940)

The tragic story about a dog and his futile attempt to remain loyal to two masters - a poacher and a hunter - proves to be extremely successful on the big screen. The four-legged protagonist is also documented in the Vienna film files: ‘We request that the dog “Naz” (more details are known to you) be insured for four weeks from 6 November 1939 for RM 3,000 against all eventualities’.
