Kouté Vwa
13-year-old Melrick, the director's nephew, wants to learn to play the drums and spends the summer with his grandmother Nicole in Cayenne, French Guiana. Memories of his uncle Luca, who was killed in 2012 and was a celebrated drummer, are awakened as his spirit seems omnipresent and lives on in the rhythms of the streets. In dealing with the painful past, Melrick searches for his own path.
