Korida

Korida: the fight between two bulls in an arena. Such events take place several times a year in Bosnia and Herzegovina and attract hundreds, sometimes thousands of spectators. There are no religious or ethnic conflicts - allegedly. The documentary film accompanies the protagonists on their moving journey through the world of Bosnian bullfights, which have hardly ever been captured on film. Siniša Vidović traces the phenomenon that is said to have brought more peace to the people than the EU: a ritual festival that brings together the different population groups of the crisis-ridden post-war society. But what makes the Korida so attractive? And why do the three formerly warring ethnic groups forget their differences here?
