Kopfstand
A short-circuited action as a result of a stupid misunderstanding. Nothing more is needed. The desperate mother picks up the phone and her son Markus is admitted to a psychiatric hospital after a brief interlude at the police station. Inside, however, things move incredibly quickly. Whether and when they can return to normal life is left to the judgement of the "experts". "Wie einer rein zufällig mit dem Leben davonkam" is the precise subtitle of this in many ways truly remarkable film by Ernst Josef Lauscher, which is not content to tell the medical history of innocent victim Markus Dorn (later Oscar winner Christoph Waltz in an early leading role) with dry objectivity.
