The Bride (Uma Thurman) has not finished her vendetta in Japan. Bill (David Carradine), her ex-lover and the target of her revenge, is still number one on her death list. Before him are a few names that have not yet been crossed off: Elle Driver (Darryl Hannah) and Budd (Michael Madsen), whom the Bride seeks out next. But the down-and-out alcoholic, who earns his living as a bouncer in a bar, proves to be surprisingly cunning. He tricks the Bride and shoots her in the chest with a load of rock salt, then buries her alive in the cemetery...
