Lana celebrates her 30th birthday in 1993 amid the political chaos in the former Yugoslavia. Her home in Belgrade becomes the setting for a lively party, while outside the world is falling apart. Friends and family gather to dance, drink, and forget the grim reality for a moment.

The film appears loose and fragmented in its structure, but this is precisely where its strength lies. It reflects the lives of its protagonists, whose existence is as torn apart by political instability as the narrative of the film itself. Lana desperately tries to maintain her relationships and protect her family while simultaneously seeking her own place in a world she hardly recognizes.
