In 1962, twelve-year-old Karla grows up in Germany in an environment marked by silence and repression. After years of sexual abuse by her father, she goes to the police and files a complaint. When twelve-year-old Karla shows up at the police station to file a complaint, they are initially at a loss. The girl's accusation is outrageous: her father is said to have abused her and must now answer for his actions. A judge takes up the case and tries to find out what happened. But this is not so easy, as the child often lacks the right words to express herself. However, this does not stop her from wanting to testify and share her fate. She still has a big test ahead of her when she has to stand up to her own family in court... Based on a true story.
