Sergio, a teacher haunted by his past, seeks a fresh start in Remis, said to be the happiest place in Italy. Soon he encounters a strange, introverted 15-year-old boy who can make all suffering disappear with a single hug. But when Sergio tries to free the boy from his burdensome role, the consequences are devastating.
